Surprisingly good and smart for the cost and in central location -

− Everything was very basic but it was reflected in the price. The room was fine but it was on top floor and lots of steps - this was OK for me but I would not have wanted to go to the reception from there.
Brilliant location for Kings X. Rooms are compact but very clean. Excellent stay.

− I couldn’t get a room with en-suite - I don’t really like having to use a shared toilet.
Nice staff, but a bit of a letdown.

− The ground floor room was very noisy due to guests checking in and leaving, poorly sound-insulated walls/floors etc. The bathroom was substandard - the door did not fit allowing for no privacy with two guests, was very small and utilitarian. For the price I expected more overall.
A great hotel for a trip to London
9.0Great location near Kings Cross/St Pancras stations and the Tube, and although the busy street was quite close, the rooms and hotel were quiet and away from all the noise. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Clean, comfortable and the rooms had everything to make the stay comfortable for a short, or longer stay in London. It was the perfect location for a holiday in this city and I would happily come back.
− Narrow, steep stairs, but it is in an older building in London, so what else does one expect?
