We had a really inappropriate experience with the host.

The property is in a nice neighborhood.

− The host let herself in at 11:40 p.m. to collect payment. My entire family was asleep or in bed with lights off. She entered the main room where my 16 year daughter was sleeping on a couch. My wife came out in pajamas to pay. We get the impression that the host has more on her plate than she’s able to manage and was just desperate to make sure she got paid. However, it was incredibly inappropriate to come that late or enter without our knowledge. Much more minor issues concerned inadequate kitchen supplies and an uncomfortable mattress, but I wouldn’t have mentioned these on their own.

Bed was clean and comfortable

− Advertised as having kitchen, washing machine, sofa desk, seating area, refrigerator, etc. What we got was a double bed in the basement with a towel as a curtain, a single lawn chair and the bathroom with men's shower supplied sitting on the floor with towels as floor mats. Since the other unit upstairs was not rented for the night we were told we could use the kitchen. It was disgustingly dirty with grease laden burners and leftovers in the refrigerator. I didn't try the coffee maker because it was crusted with old coffee. This is her boyfriends home and it appeared that he just left it as it was.

Host was very accommodating for a last minute booking. Good communication thoughout process. Easy check in. She was there to greet us when we arrived. Decedent value in a high priced market.
