Nice sized room and bath. Super clean. Great central location with lots of affordable restaurants around and the big new Supermarket Angkor Market 3. Even has a small swimming pool. The mattress had an extra foam topper which was a rare treat. The son who normally runs the place after 2pm was wonderful. He helped me obtain the govt form needed to extend my visa via a special app hotels must use for logging in tourist whereabouts.

− Now the bad news. The morning staff spoke limited English. The front desk lady was thoughtful and helpful when prompted but not proactive . This is a family run guesthouse. The emphasis is cleaning the space not on interaction with guests. At times they were extremely unfriendly. The boss (mother) took my key when I checked out, refused to acknowledge me, smile, or thank me for my business. She didn't even look up from ber work. During my stay interaction with her and staff was often frustrating. Breakfast was embarrassing. 2 eggs on a plate and a roll, but we had to wait for the bread guy to come around 7am to enjoy the bounty. Or choose a small plate of fruit. Coffee was a nescafe packet. Or hot tea. The son admitted they liked to keep it simple. Understatement. If you're looking for a cheap clean room, centrally located-- this is that. If you're seeking a hotel with warm hospitality and good customer service--this is not the place. But to be fair when the son was around, you will get kind service. And he is a sparkling personality and well informed individual.

Clean, comfortable and quiet hotel very close to everything you need.

The owner is a very friendly man, and when we requested a change from our 3rd floor room to a ground floor room, they changed it. This place is spotlessly clean and well maintained. There are 2 very good restaurants next door, and many other eateries nearby. It was quiet and very comfortable. It does not have an elevator, so if you have mobility issues request a ground floor room when booking.

Location

− On arrival reception woman did not even look at me. Total ignored me till I spoke. No English. Not even a hello xin chow. So rude. Given room key. Very basic. No safe as abvertised. Staff were so rude I checked out the next day. Worst experience of a two month trip to Vietnam and Cambodia which was fantastic. I am averaging two nights per hotel over two months, and that was the worst hotel of a whole two month trip stay away lots of much nicer hotel is just round the corner

Schöne grosse Eingangshalle und Terassen mit Holzvertäfelungen. Hübsches, helles, grosses Zimmer. Sehr sauber. Freundliches Personal.
