10.0My stay was very good, check in was easy and fairly quick. Out of hours door access was explained which was pertinent to our stay so that was very helpful. However if you do return in the early hours, be aware that a lot of the doors are fire doors and slam shut making a big noise. The shared facilities were well equipped and very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is free. Just be aware that all members of your party need to show their photo ID. Overall a great stay and I'd certainly return if I'm ever in the area again. It's also made me think that if I need accommodation somewhere in the UK, my first search will be for Youth Hostels.

10.0I don't know what to say other than I have sent my review to YHA with "top marks" for everything. From the friendly welcome received on check-in to the cleanliness of the room allocated, everything was absolutely perfect for the overnight stay. I slept very well & enjoyed the morning coffee in the café downstairs. It was all spot-on and excellent value for money. I will recommend to friends and I would like to book to stay there again.

Unique hostel in great location
10.0Great location, in a historic factory building from the china works. Staff were very helpful. Plenty of parking and nice location, next to the river. Bed was comfortable but a bit short for a tall person, plus the soundproofing of the room doors was not great.
