This is a cheap place to sleep -- totally fine if that's what you need. It's not very clean and there's a lot of quirky things wrong with the place. But the bedding was clean and the parking was free. There was also an error with our reservation, but the staff was very nice and offered us an alternate room to accommodate us anyway.

A Standout on the Strip

This motel was a delightful find - it was clean and had all the comforts of higher-rated hotels, and I experienced no on-street activity to detract from my ability to access and enjoy the property. It's actually a well-cared-for surrounding residential neighborhood and I enjoyed my early-morning jogs.

This line of hotels in Oakland has cleaned up its act. This one in particular. I arrived at 11:30 pm. Staff guy was nice, friendly. Felt safe, lots of lights, cameras etc. The street itself is kinda Shady, but expect that The room was nice, contemporary floors & super contemporary bathroom, shower sink floor etc. Bedding was clean, nice , hotel style standard, Huge flatscreen tv, modern remote, dish network, Coffee maker, frig. Interior door was beat up, but functioned good, standard dead bolt 👍. Not for kids, this street in Oakland is kinda hit and miss. But Great value $ 90, two queen beds. Great for a night or two. I got room 115, interior corridor, quiet from McArthur Blvd. and BART ( Bay Area “Train” Subway) Walk to BART, nice shops up Piedmont Ave. I’ll stay again, for the price, other Hotels are $ 125 and up. 👍👍 Matthew- Lodi, Berkeley, Oakland

Staff is friendly. Property and neighborhood are a little run down, but getting gentrified. Room was very clean and bed super comfortable. I’d stay here again! Very central location.
