10.0This small hotel was in the perfect location within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the village green where the buses are located during the summer. The room was spacious and spotless. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful The water bottle filler and ice maker in the office were an added bonus!

9.0Wonderful place - we really enjoyed our stay here. About a 10 minute walk to downtown bar harbor / shuttle to Acadia, convenient parking and quick drive to national park, everything was wonderful! Exceptional staff and front desk lobby had water refill, ice, coffee station!
− Very minor but - no full length mirror - only one was above bathroom sink
Island Place is a hidden gem in Bar Harbor!
10.0Island Place was so cute, clean, and comfortable. It was walking distance from everything in downtown Bar Harbor, so I was able to just leave my car in the provided parking for my entire stay. Melissa at the front desk was also incredible - helpful and friendly. I also appreciated little extras like the water bottle filler in the lobby. I'd definitely stay here again!
