August 2023 Stay
9.0The Property is beautiful and nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. It's quiet and secluded so if you want to unplug it's good for that. The staff were amazing helpful and always available. It's wonderful for a special occasion with your family. We spent my daughters 21st there and staff were amazing at making a special experience. Chef was fantatsic, the menu had a good selection of food, breakfast was especially good. Staff were available with a minibus to take us where ever we needed to go, so that made getting around really easy. Overall very enjoyable.
− The location is a little far out so everywhere is a drive away and Balapitiya town is not a tourist town so not much there. However Galle is a 30 minute drive.
Great food and service but pictures are deceiving.
8.0This hotel is situated on a beautiful private property, with a lovely garden and private beach with rock pools! Food - especially Sri Lankan food - was fantastic! The staff also made sure they did everything to make our stay a lovely one. But sadly, the place wasn’t up to standard. Rooms, toilets and surrounding areas looked worn down. The “white” look in these images - I can guarantee it’s not white. It was more yellowish. Our toilet seat broke while we were there. The place was clean, but it was definitely worn down. It’s not upto standard of a luxury villa, and it’s definitely not worth the price they charge for it!
