Amazing value for money, very comfortable stay
10.0I stayed here before two years ago, and it is heartening to see that the owners have maintained this modern hotel in good shape. While it is truly in the budget category (we paid less than 900 Baht each for our rooms including breakfast), the product quality punches well above its weight. The rooms are sleekly designed, beds and pillows are comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and effective, and the reception staff are friendly and helpful. Easy parking and convenient access off the main highway through the city, Breakfast is good (you order from a selection of Thai and western dishes). It would be nice to have a kettle in the room to make coffee upon waking. Also, guests should be aware there is no lift so if you have difficulty climbing two to three flights of stairs ask for a room on the first or ground floor. The property is a 15-minute stroll to the lake where most of the farang-friendly bars and restaurant are located, and where you can enjoy the fabulous sunsets from an uncluttered promenade. I love Phayao, and I love this little gem of a hotel too.

6.0Number one problem I have with this property was the resort fee it was a $25 a night room but they tacked on a 12 1/2 dollar resort fee which of course includes taxes but it was 33% of the room cost. This is the highest fee I have ever received on a property and it is unacceptable. The best thing about this room is a great breakfast at café in the front of the hotel. Everything was clean The bed was excepted fully comfortable but no coffee or cattle in the room unacceptable even at this price point
