Breakfast was do it yourself. yogurt granola ,bread peanut butter. i would have at least liked a breakfast muffin or pastry.It was cl;ean.

− the tops of the sheets could have been ironed.All the furniture was low to the floor. I realize it was the decor but it was difficult to get in and out of the chairs. there was no flat surface to put your stuff down on. No dresser, no desk etc. I would have liked a box of kleenex. There was no inn keeper on site and this made me uncomfortable

Everything was on a standard level. Nothing exceptional. .

− It is very inconvenient that there is no 24 hours reception. For the quality they came to have and for the price I would expect to have service around the clock. We had a problem with the tub and we had to call someone from home. As I mentioned the jet tub didn't work. We did get a refund for the difference. There is no real breakfast, just few items that you take out of the fridge yourself and make your own meal. The parking is not very accessible and a bit far. The directions to get there were not very accurate.

Should have paid more for somewhere nicer.

The only nice thing is that they proactively moved us to a larger room, because the room I originally booked had broken jets in the tub.

− This place feels more like an Airbnb. I never saw a single human being who worked here. I was not aware of this operating model when I booked this hotel. It is not described as such on their website nor on my booking confirmation. They do instruct you that you can text them if you need anything. Here are my biggest gripes: - Some of the linens smelled like body odor. - The mattress was very low to the ground and soft. - The upholstered headboard grossed my husband out. - The TV was actually just Roku programming, so we were unable to watch any live sports. - Breakfast was supposedly included, but all we found in the kitchen was coffee/tea, a variety of Chobani yogurt, 2 slices of white bread, and granola. Even the most gross Hyatt Place I’ve ever stayed in had a better selection than this. (We ended up eating out every breakfast we were there.) - The floor was creaky. The parking is just public parking spots behind the building. Overall, my husband really did not like this place and in the future, we will probably pay more money to stay somewhere nicer.

− No staff on-site so no one to greet you. Unimpressive breakfast: just coffee and yogurt, though they did give suggestions for places in town to get real breakfasts. Just one reading lamp for a queen bed. Unattractive decor.

Unique art-themed little inn - perfect because my visit was focused on a visit to Mass MoCA. Very comfortable bed. The property uses organic, natural, and environmentally safe materials. I loved the focus on locally-made contemporary art! The communal areas were pleasant and well maintained, and stocked with interesting art and local history books; the communal kitchen area is fully functional and very clean, and the manager, Kate, was friendly and helpful. No breakfast is made, but coffee, tea, and breakfast foods are available in the kitchen. It is in a kind of funky run-down old neighborhood, typical of older industrial Mass towns that have seen better days, which initially surprised me but was ultimately quite comfortable and safe. This is the kind of unique and special place that is hard to find, and adds a lot to a visit to the area.

− Only one strange thing: the bathroom, while very clean, held a strong smell of old body odor. All the linens were clean and fresh-smelling, so that was not the issue. This was more of a “weird” than a “yuck” smell - not what you would call bathroom smells, and was only noticeable in the bathroom itself, not the bedroom. Also, like any old house, there was a certain amount of noise from other rooms and people’s comings & goings - creaky stairs & floors, outside street noise, conversation in public areas. Not a problem for me, but perhaps could be for more noise-sensitive folks.

Great accommodation, very stylish. Room was excellent. Kitchen facilities perfect. Completely relaxing. Veggie wife so local restaurants offer limited fayre. Did excellent & good value diy salad from Hometown Markets. Quick response from staff to all our queries
