Charmy period house, centrally located
8.0It is a very charmy and historic house located a few minutes walking from the lake and puerto Varas city centre. Wifi was a bit hit and miss but there is a parking space and the hosts were really polite and helpful. Breakfast was really nice and the room while not very big was clean and comfortable. Would recommend
Comfy Place Away from Home
8.0Hostal Opapa Juan confirm all the reasons and advantages one chooses a hostal over a hotel: the owner, Joaquina, and her son Renato, exude warmth and helpfulness. Their home made kuchen and marmalade and selected cold cuts made our breakfast a wonderful start of our days. The rooms are modest but clean and comfortable. 10.0This place is an old house maintain in such amazing way! I has all the aspects you would expect in order to receive an amazing service. People and their service will always be a decision making point when rating the service. These guys just rocked it - They were amazing, not only because what they had to do, but also because the extra mile they went through on every aspect. I have the chance to visit them and stay with them, don't hesitate, you will not regret it!
Hostal mit deutschen wurzeln
10.0Wir, familie mit 2 jugendlichen kindern, haben hier 2 naechte uebernachtet. Der empfang war herzlich, es wird auch ein bisschen deutsch gesprochen. Es ist ein umgaengliches familiaeres hostal, gut gepflegt und sauber. Besonders das fruehstueck ist in umfang und qualitaet hervor zuheben. Preis leistung stimmt absolut.

10.0Room is clean, pretty and great view (room 5) The staff have been great!! Really friendly and a great help. Breakfast is super tasty too :0 ) would definitely recommend and we would definitely come back.
