9.0From the moment you drive up to The Hill Club, you feel like you’ve stepped back in time! Perfect for anyone wanting to immerse themselves in the history of the tea country. It’s been beautifully renovated and the rooms are spacious and luxuriant. The staff are attentive and The Hill Club Burger is delicious!
− It was a big place and sometimes hard to find an actual staff member, but they were attentive to calls.

8.0l'hôtel est magnifique avec son jardin qui est superbe, les chambres sont grandes et très jolies. Nous avons souper sur place dans le resto chic, on nous a prêté les habits nécessaires au dress code demandé et c'était une jolie expérience de mettre tout le monde en veste, cravate. Petite surprise reçu avant le repas du soir, une bouillotte, une rose et des chocolats et un grand sourire, j'ai trop apprécié cette petite attention, et la personne qui est venue nous livrer tout ça, était trop chou.
− Les serveurs ne sont pas très efficace et pas très souriant, je pense l'endroit ou le personnel était le moins sympa de notre séjour au Sr Lanka. j'ai aussi demandé à la réception la veille pour pouvoir prendre notre petit déjeuner à l'extérieur dans leur magnifique jardin, on m'a dit oui, et le matin quand nous sommes arrivés, ça n'était pas possible... bien dommage. nous sommes allés fumer un cigare dans le fumoir après notre repas, mais on avait juste l'impression d'être des pestiférés! les serveurs se relayaient pour venir nous mettre toutes les ventilations possibles qui faisaient un bruit pas possible, on s'entendait plus parler. Ils feraient mieux de refuser qu'on fume à l'intérieur, ça serait bien plus simple. Attention aux taxes élevées qui s'ajoute à votre facture.

− The staff & lack of facilities. The staff accused my son & I of losing our room key when they had put it back in the wrong key slot. It was an unpleasant experience. The place was steeped in outdated British tradition (like dressing up for dinner), stuffy & would not be to everyone's liking.

Un saut dans le passé dans un club anglais historique
7.0Grande maison très bien entretenue et très confortable avec une atmosphère authentique et de nombreux souvenirs de la présence anglaise sur l’île. Chambres spacieuses et confortables. Très bon petit déjeuner.
