Location was great! The room was large with a nice big bathroom, bedroom and kitchen and a lovely area to sit and have breakfast outside.. Really enjoyed the little pool to relax after a long day.

− The only challenge was the road to the beach was very muddy and rocky to walk on after hard rain.

A noter que ce n'est pas un hôtel, pas de restauration sur place, mais il est possible de se preparer a manger. Endroit agréable, bien entretenu. Nous avons passé un tres bon séjour a Mariposa, Darwin est au petits soins pour ses hôtes, très réactifs a nos demandes.

Le Mariposa lodge est bien placé et au calme. Les chambres sont confortables et le personnel efficace et réactif. La climatisation fonctionne bien et la piscine est agréable même si elle n'est pas très grande. J'ai passé un agréable séjour.

FUN AND RELAXING

We spent a week at The Mariposa Lodge in West End with all 4 of our kids and some of our grandkids. Each couple had their own suite and we had the big apartment on the top for al of our meals that we cooked and ate together. The lodge is in an absolutely perfect location for a lot of really good restaurants and wonderful beach. We loved our suite at the lodge.

Mariposa is a clean, quiet and well run lodge in a good location and offers good value.

Mariposa Lodge is a well located lodge off the main road in West End Roatan and so it is a quiet place. My room had the amenities that were mentioned on booking.com and I was expecting. The room was clean, with a clean bathroom with towels. The air conditioning worked fine. There was safety deposit box in room, which is a nice thing to have. And the room had a refrigerator, coffee maker and a microwave. The bed was comfortable with clean sheets, however the huge king size bed was too big for the small room. The first few days the internet did not work, however after I informed the staff the problem was resolved within a few days. The only problem I had were sand flee bites, I was eaten alive every night by these creature I couldn’t even see. I tried insect repellent, it didn’t help much. I had so many bites all over my body, scratched myself bloody. I have been back in the states for a week now and I am still scratching the bite marks.

− The property is clean and quiet. The small pool is a nice touch. The location of the lodge is central near everything in the west end.
