Just had a week at this resort and loved it! It was very relaxing and the hosts / owners were wonderful people. We visited to specifically dive with the onsite dive operator, but we were very happy with the accommodations. The service level, cleanliness and friendliness of all the staff was great. Definitely recommend Sandy Bay Divers and staying at this location. The location of the resort is away from the hustle and bustle of West End, so will either need to get taxi's or rent a car if want to explore while on the island.

My stay at Blue Bahia Resort was truly wonderful from start to finish! The location right on the beach in Sandy Bay is beautiful and peaceful — perfect for relaxing under the sun and enjoying amazing ocean views. The rooms and condo-style accommodations were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including daily housekeeping and thoughtful amenities.

We loved this restaurant and went several times during our week here. It felt like we have known the wonderful staff forever. Josh and Kimberley have put together a great venue and a terrific staff. Johnny and his creative cocktails, Jessie our waitress, Allie and Pancake the dog greeters, and the rest of the team. The food was great. Highly recommend you try this!

You will not find a more family friendly place than The Blue Bahia! From the second you arrive, Josh, Kim, Becca, their children and all of the staff will make you feel like you just arrived to visit your own family. We were in Roatan for two weeks and Blue Bahia was our first stop and we truly did not want to leave, in fact we did not leave the whole week. There was a craft fair, game night, live music, paddle boarding and a fire on the beach every night. We also went diving with Jordan and Sandy Bay Divers every day we were there and the restaurant was fantastic as well. Watching the kids play and make new friends was just one of the highlights. You will not find a harder working family and staff. Becca does a great job sharing a text each morning of daily things to do on the island, but again we never left. We moved locations the second week of our stay and the whole time just kept saying how much we missed The Blue Bahia hospitality as it is truly unmatched. 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for a more quite place on the island catered to family.

We enjoyed our visit at this relaxed casual beach front resort where you feel like part of the family! Rooms are clean, cozy, quiet and comfy! Activities such as music, games, beach bonfire and daily drink and dining specials made our stay so much fun! Low season specials make this resort a great value. The owners and staff are gracious and fun, which is why we keep returning!
