Wish we could have stayed longer, but transiting through the area on a road trip.
10.0Design of the villa was fantastic. Felt quite private even though we were close to other guests. Garden bath was lovely. Host was kind enough to bring us more firewood.

10.0There is hardly any better stay for one or several nights in and around Oudtshoorn than at De Kombuys. So friendly. So cosy, so relaxing. With perfect Wagyu meat and own vine. We tried the Chardonnay 2002 and the Shiraz with the Wagyu prime steak. Feels like home when you are from South England, the Benelux or the north of France, since the architecture of the Dutch Farm house looks famliliar. Maybe those creating the Farm in 1814 where flemish?!
