6.0At first it was difficult to get to because Google Maps take you to the neighbors. I was expecting to have breakfast provided but the owner made me realize that the room I had rented did not offer breakfast. Service can be improved.

10.0I've travelled a lot over the last 4 decades and Kona Palace has the best view of any property I've stayed in. It is cozy and secluded and it was amazing just to sit on the patio and watch the sun come up from the side of a mountain! The surrounding foliage is beautiful and the accomodations are comfortable. The cherry on top was finding we had a hot tub!

10.0A perfect start to our Hawaii trip! After a long day of travel from the mainland, we arrived at Kona Palace and were warmly greeted by Rebecca. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. After a good night's sleep, we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast served on the lanai with amazingly beautiful views. Rebecca provided fresh fruit from her property (including fresh-squeezed orange juice), homemade granola, eggs, taro rolls, and more. After breakfast, coffee, and good conversation, we were on our way, but I would have loved to have stayed here longer. 5 stars!
Alaskans Loved Kona Palace
10.0Kona Palace was the biggest treat of our trip to Big Island. The home is gorgeous- very clean and filled with art, antiques and beautiful stained glass. The view of Kaalakakua Bay is unsurpassed—with homemade hot breakfast served and cooked by the host. They also have worked hard to cultivate gorgeous landscaping- flowering bushes and palms. We were warmly welcomed and will return.
