Bed and breakfast were very good but it is in a very noisy location being right on a busy road

− The road was very noisy and with the heat we tried sleeping with the window open but that didn't work so we had to shut it. They had supplied a fan which was excellent and they could do nothing about the weather but I would make sure we asked for a room at the back another time.
Herzlicher Aufenthalt in Chard
9.0James & Katherine waren sehr nette Gastgeber. Man fühlte sich herzlich willkommen. Der Charme des alten und liebevoll gestalten Hauses hat uns sehr gefallen. Das Frühstück konnte einen Tag vorher durch Auswahl zusammengestellt werden. Das Rührei und selbst gemachte Granola ist sehr zu empfehlen. Uns hat es gut geschmeckt. Der kleine hübsche Innenhofgarten durfte mitgenutzt werden. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Chard selbst ist kein wirklicher touristischer Ort. Man gelangt jedoch in ca. 25 Minuten zur Jurassic Coast in Lyme Regis. Dieser Tagesausflug hat uns super gefallen.
− Leider hat sich die Hitze in Südengland im Dachzimmer bemerkbar gemacht. Die Gastgeber haben uns freundlicherweise zwei Ventilatoren ins Zimmer gestellt. Damit war es am Abend und morgens gut auszuhalten.
