The hotel unilaterally canceled my reservation.
2.0We reserved a room at this hotel through hotels.com. On the day of arrival, I recived a text message from the hotel asking me if I intended to arrive that day or not. I texted back taht I will. They texted back confirming my response. When we arrived at the property, I was told that my booking was canceled because I arrived late (at about 7:15 pm). I argued that I was never informed of the policy of late arrival but to no avail. Hence, I had to find another hotel to stay that night.
