Good amount of space for the $
6.0Once we got checked in, we were made aware that there's only 1 parking space. The beds were VERY firm, but other than that good space for a large family. Easy Access to shopping, gas, & freeway.
Convenient and reasonably priced
6.0Rented it for a week for a family vacation (4 adults, 1 child); close to major highways and attractions. Within a mile or less from grocery and department stores. Overall, pretty good experience. Hot water was a little weak for showering and beds were not that comfortable. Place was a bit dated and condition was not so great (i.e., walls were dirty and bathroom walls were rotten in certain places). But, in all, reasonably priced and served the purpose.
20 minutes from Universal Studios
10.0Local to Universal Studios, which was our goal. Home is dated, simple, but clean. Problem the first night with a misunderstanding about parking was quickly resolved by the owners. Perfect for a family wanting to visit local attractions. All utilities and kitchen worked well, one bathroom for 3 bedrooms was cramped, but my 4 teens made it work without a fuss.
Disappointing
4.0This house was really old from the curtains and sheets (thin and worn) to the walls (water damage) and floor (cracked tile). The mattresses were not very comfortable and the beds were squeaky. I think the home itself was clean, but it didn't feel clean because it was so dated. The kitchen was usable, but was stocked with old essential items and just wasn't super friendly to cook in. We ended up not using it much. The water heater was finicky, and our showers never really got very hot but the kitchen sink would. The area was convenient. It was close to the freeway and a grocery store. The parking was nice inside a little gated driveway. It felt like a safe place to stay. In order to get the specific information to stay here, the owners required me to send them a photo of my ID. I did not feel comfortable with this part of the process.
