A bit disappointed
6.0This hotel was okay. It's clean and the staff were nice. It's within a mile or so of the Aircraft carrier Lexington and the Aquarium, both of which were on our "to-do" list. We were expecting a resort hotel where we could actually see the ocean from our "ocean view" room. While the beach is a short walk away, and we saw some bit of water from our room, there is a large multistory restaurant that blocked most of the view. This hotel has no elevator, and all of the rooms are accessible only by an outside concrete stairway. If I had known this ahead of time, I would not have stayed here. The rooms appear to be spotty in quality; it looks like some have been renovated with new furniture, smart TV's, etc. Our room had not been upgraded, so the furniture looked like late "thrift store" items, the TV was old/had no apps, and the mattress on the bed had a deep depression on one side as if a patient from My 600-lb life had sat on it a while- not at all comfortable. If you stay here, you're taking your chances.
