Beautifully located hotel, perfect for a countryside getaway!
7.0This WOT hotel is a nice escape into the Portuguese countryside, only a half an hour drive from the capital city. The hotel is located in a picturesque area which is its biggest highlight. You can spend time on the big terrace, in the lovely garden and take a trip to one of the towns nearby. There was enough parking space for us. The check in was easy and the staff was nice. The breakfast was super cool, it had all one can ask for. Delicious breads, cakes, fruit juices made it worth it!
− You can't have your own drinks/ food in the terrace nor dining area. That's fair enough as they serve their food, however we could not get what we wanted from there, food- and drink-wise. We struggled with the smell in both of the rooms we booked. It must have been a drain / sewer smell in one of the rooms and the smell of straw decorations in both of the rooms. These boho style things are difficult to be kept clean and produce an unpleasant smell. One of us struggled with sleeping because of that. That is why we would probably not stay here again, unless there is a room designed in a different style.
