Spacious room in a not too noisy area but still walking distance from the center of town

The double room was really nice, at the top floor so quite quiet. I've stayed before in a room on the first floor and it was more noisy as you can hear the other guest talking/walking around. The room and bathroom were spacious. The common area is really nice, specially in the morning when there is a breeze, you can watch the flying foxes in the palm trees from the balcony at sunset.

− Would recommend to take ear plugs for light sleepers, as the neighbouring roosters can wake you up early. Breakfast was not refilled so it's best if you go early to being able to choose from a variety of items (the chocolate jam was amazing!)

Ruhig gelegen. Frühstück gegen Aufpreis möglich. Gute AC. Matratze gut.

− Wasserdruck im Badezimmer mangelhaft. Oftmals nur tröpfchenweise Wsser aus der Dusche.

I enjoyed staying at Sweet Guest House and would definitely recommend it.

The management/bosses of the guesthouse were excellent and were able to recommend a nice, quiet room and were keen to help make the guests' stay as pleasant as possible. Bemilton speaks excellent English and was a very cheerful person. The communal area on the third floor with it's wooden balcony was perfect to sit and relax on a hot afternoon. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and a good size. The guesthouse, overall is excellent value for money. It is tranquil and quiet as there is no pool or bar. It's also great they sell their own lovely chocolate bars at reception to buy as presents. It's just a 5-10 minute walk into the town centre.

− I ended up having to catch a lift from another guest to get to the airport on leaving, as the transfer I paid for still hadn't arrived 15 minutes after the time I had booked it for. I think perhaps other guests had taken a transfer from the hotel about 20 minutes earlier and perhaps there was only one transfer driver and he hadn't got back. This was the only negative point of my stay.

Great boutique hotel close to the centre of town

Very unique boutique hotel over 3 individual floors with common areas such as lounge and kitchen for guest use. Rooms are clean and modern. Overall I would stay again and recommend

− Breakfast was basic for 10 euro cost. Dining room was closed during the evening so plan to eat out. I checked in at 7pm and the receptionist’s English is poor and hence it was difficult to get answers to basic questions

Perfecte locatie, alles erg proper en netjes verzorgd. Ideale uitvalsbasis om Sao Tome te voet te verkennen.
