Lovely resort and island
10.0An amazing location with our room overlooking the ocean. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. We used the complimentary kayaks and paddled out to the nearest island, rented a scooter and went snorkeling and hung out at the town square, Alu-Alu. Had some very fresh lobster, shrimp and squid. The room was fantastic.

10.0Excellent service and very nice accommodations. We booked the Esplanade Suite which had an amazing unrestricted view of the private beach and ocean. Highly recommend.

8.0It is an authentic Javanese resort with great views and lovely beach. The staff are very good and will go above and beyond to ensure your stay is optimal however English is a challenge for most. The stone bungalows are set on a ridge for beautiful views however they are set quite close together and the lack of privacy between them is noticeable. Planting a few trees between each would fix this. The outside showers were difficult as they were placed in bath tubs that collected debris from the neighbouring trees and required hand holding to use. The curtains were paper thin and we were not able to close them completely for privacy. You need to be an early riser which was not a problem for us. The day trips that we enjoyed were excellent and all were arranged by the resort staff. Kudos to them for taking the hassle out of truly enjoying the island. The beach is lovely but outsiders may use it for a supplement so it is not truly private. There are scooters to hire very cheaply to see the island if you so choose. Two things not to be missed are the island hopping tour and dinner at the night market for a fish feast. The restaurant at the resort was adequate for lunch and dinner but lacked sophistication. Breakfasts were superb. All in all, if you overlook the plastic garbage problem that all of Indonesia experiences ( which is not evident at the resort) you have made a great choice to stay at Breve Azurine. I give it an 8.5 out of 10.
Il miglior hotel di karimunjawa
10.0hotel di livello alto , confortevole pulito e personale gentile e disponibile a tutte le richieste. Ottima scelta per chi decide di soggiornare a Karimunjawa. Colazione migliore dell’isola !!!!
Nicest room in the second nicest resort
4.0With the exception of Kura Kura, this is probably the nicest resort on the island. But still not that nice. We paid a high price for the largest room in the hotel, which did have stunning views right over the ocean. So the room was fine, if rustic, but everything else was a bit of a disappointment. The very small beach has a bit of trash, not a lot, but not pristine. And the seaweed on the floor makes wading out a bit of a challenge. Breakfast is pathetically small compared to most high end resorts; all I had was toast. And the other dining options are below par. Overall, of all the great beaches in the world, that's not much reason to come here. But they do make some nice use of Indonesian crafts throughout the hotel.
