Clean, comfortable and well-equipped room. A great selection of hot drinks with plenty of milk, plus bottled water, biscuits, glasses, a corkscrew and a small fridge – all thoughtful touches that were much appreciated. Excellent communication from the hosts before my stay. I especially appreciated the message explaining that the owner was in hospital but was still managing bookings and responding to messages. Everything was straightforward and I had a lovely two-night stay. I'd happily stay here again.

− I stayed in Room 6, one of the more affordable rooms with a private bathroom across the hallway rather than an en-suite. The bathroom is very small, and I found myself trying to be quiet when using it late at night and early in the morning, as I was conscious of disturbing the neighbouring room. During the heatwave the room was very warm when I arrived, as it's at the top of the building and gets plenty of sun. Keeping the curtains closed helped, and it became much more comfortable once the outside temperature dropped. I didn't seem to receive information about parking or that my room key would be left on the shelf in the hallway, so I initially couldn't find it and had to message the host. I parked on the street about a five-minute walk away. I didn't see the hosts during my stay, although they were responsive to messages and everything ran smoothly.

Perfect area lovely room would defo come back!!

− It was extremely warm and the window did not open fully and the fan was extremely dusty and dirty. The sink was also in a bit of a strange place with the height.

The location is perfect! Right across a nice park so the view is greenery. You can walk easily to the city center, very near. The hosts gave us their parking slot so it saved us looking for one. Room was spacious, coffee and tea corner well supplied. We were given an electric stand fan and it was cool in the room despite the heat outside. The hosts are very nice and accommodating.

− The accommodation is on a busy street going to the city center so the traffic noise is loud when the windows are open. We brought earplugs so we were not bothered by the noise and slept well. The showerhead is very big. We had a pool of water on the bathroom floor after a shower. I think I stood under only half of the shower.
