8.0A small, clean, comfortable room in a good location for our visit with relatives. Automatic check-in was super easy, with a key code to access the room. The bed was comfy (loved the pillows!) and the shower was good, though the showerhead was unusually low. I'm 5'2" and it was fine for me, but anyone much taller would have to bend down.
− The AC had brightly lit panel that made the room brighter than we like at night. So on a warm summer night, we had to choose between being cool and having a dark room for sleeping. The cost felt high for an old-school (though well-cared-for) roadside motel. But that's peak season in northern Michigan. Checkout at 11 would be nicer for vacationers than checkout at 10.
Would stay again for sure!
