A comfortable, warm and welcoming place with wonderful people that made my stay in beautiful Staithes truly memorable.
10.0I had a wonderful stay at The Royal George and would happily return. The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and had everything I needed for a relaxing few days in Staithes. The location was perfect for exploring the village and surrounding coastline. What really made my stay special, though, was the people. The hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming and genuinely kind throughout my visit. A special thank you to the lovely breakfast lady and the lovely evening bar lady, who both went above and beyond to make me feel at home. They remembered my breakfast order (which is 10/10!), always made sure I had plenty of water and patiently answered all of my random questions with a smile. Their kindness, care and genuine warmth made such a difference to my stay, especially while I was dealing with a sore ankle. I felt so well looked after, and it’s something I’ll remember long after my holiday.
