Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff is impeccable and super kind and thoughtful. They went above and beyond on special touches, with some gifts in the room and they also gave some sweet gifts for my husband's birthday. The place is gorgeous and the interiors were designed impeccably. Loved the spa/gym facilities.

− They fell short in a few places but they always made up for it. The pool bar service was super slow on the first day but they offered free drinks and didn't charge for the lunch which definitely was appreciated. The room wasn't cleaned on the first day also, even after requesting the front of house staff it still wasn't done until I asked a second time which is pretty disappointing for a 5* hotel. But once again, I received a call after with an apology when I filled out their review form. This is really good initiative and rare to make up for every shortfall, so I still rate this place highly!

Calamigos is a beautiful property with excellent food and a wonderful frontline staff. Unfortunately, my lasting impression is one of management indifference. We booked Calamigos primarily for the Beach Club experience, only to learn after arrival that no beach amenities are provided on Mondays and Tuesdays, which happened to be the only beach days during our stay. Traveling without beach equipment, we spent those days sitting on resort towels with no shade, seating, or comfortable way to enjoy the beach. What prompted this review was not the lack of amenities, but the complete lack of response from management. I emailed the General Manager, left a voicemail, was referred to another manager, and sent a follow-up email at his request. None of those communications received a response, even while we were guests on property. I do not expect every issue to be resolved. I do expect it to be acknowledged. The staff delivered excellent service. Management did not. If the Beach Club is a primary reason for your stay, confirm exactly what amenities will be available during your dates rather than relying on the property's marketing.

We had the best stay at Calamigos! Just a quick getaway with my husband - but it felt like a full exhale! Beds were so comfortable - our Bungalow was spacious and well appointed, but the best part was definitely the outdoor bathtub with all the incredible Flamingo Estates products!

− The room service was not the best but i appreciate the staff and loved every minute of our stay! We even got a welcome drink so that was the only note.
