Good but not the usual standard

All the staff I spoke to were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Especially the lady who served us in the breakfast room. Nothing was too much trouble! The king-size bed in my room seemed to have been a mega size bed. Not seen a bed this huge before and it was super comfy.

− I was a bit surprised on pulling back the quilt, to find a small hole in the sheet (size of a cigarette burn or from the washing machine) and dirty scruff marks. As these were below the pillow they stood out. There was a piece of skirting next to the shower cubicle that was loose and either needs replacing or repairing. Also it looked like the vinyl around the basin has become unstuck and is sticking up. Looked very unhygienic.

it was mediocre to say the least . grumpy staff who really didnt want to be there

− we enquired if the room had a fridge before we set off and we were told it did. We need a fridge for temperature relaint medicines. There wasnt a fridge which we found to be annoying to say the least

Excellent friendly and efficient hospitality staff. Very rare these days!

− Not that I didn’t like it - mattress needed some toppers in as was too firm for me. Hotel arranged quickly and had good sleep. Thanks .

Fairly well equipped. Breakfast sausages were excellent.

− I travel a lot and this is one of the worse places I've stayed in. The staff seemed poorly trained. Bar being manned by one person, who was running about all over the place which mean long waits.desser was served without spoons and we had to wait 15 minutes to find someone. The poor guy was taking a large order but I should have been able to find someone else or help myself. The breakfast server was surly and rude. It was a buffet and she told me I "could have asked", in a strongly negative tone suggesting I wasn't allowed to touch the coffee pot. But it was a buffet, so I expect to serve myself, no problem. But her attitude made it so. We were not the I ly party who thought she was rude. On our table there were 7 cups for a table for 4, and one place had nothing but knives and a spoon. No teaspoons available for the coffee without asking. Others who joined me got coffee without milk and no spoon. So why not let us serve ourselves if you're it doing anything? The scrambled egg was basically a mashed omelette. The place had a lot of flies about. Especially in the bar. The music was absolutely awful muzak-style corporate rubbish. The bedroom (28) had mound in the shower cubicle and around the frame. The floor is warped by the shower. The sink shoots water out onto the floor or down you if you're not careful. Overall, staff too casual and not enough training on how to work with customers. .
