6.0Property need update, bathroom door not working dirty and bathroom is very small. If you are looking just for place to sleep it great, but don’t expect anything more. Break is very limited, only few dishes and they don’t keep the foods warm.

10.0Wonderful property with a clean modern room. The staff was exceptionally helpful, professional and kind. Breakfast is made to order and excellent. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and some of the city tourist spots. There are always tuktuks parked right out front for the more distant spots. Highly recommend, this is a great location!

10.0A friend had recommended me this hotel,I had booked an 8 night stay prior to flying out of Laos, time to do travel documents Pcr test etc, I wasn't looking forward to this length of time in a hotel with all the restrictions in place due to covid,I was greated with a temperature check and a full disinfectant spray, this immediately raised my confidence. My room was spotless, and I senced a comfortable week ahead. After making myself a coffee and enjoying the views of the city from the room I went down to the lobby where I was greated by a huge smile and hello and welcome from the biggest asset in the hotel, Sarah the manager.. During my stay she helped me with so many things, nothing was too much trouble for her, a true heart of gold. It is clear that the staff in the Sokdee Hotel have been infected by Sarah's character. The room was comfortable,big towels😁 the breakfast was homely, great coffee,good WiFi, and value for money was tremendous. All in all highly recommended.. Thank you.. See you again soon.. 🙏
Poor 1 week stay
4.0The hotel have seen its better day. furniture aged and first room allocated have heavy cigarette smell, hard bed and very poor TV reception. I was updated to a bigger room but which is better but furniture are old. No toiletries provided and water puddle in the room which cannot find the source. Regular pungent smell occasionally appear, usually at night.

6.0The staff were excellent although some were limited in english. Had a problem upon checking. The room size was not the same as in the website. 20 m2 was more likely instead of 30 m2 as in the website of deluxe corner room. I don't think it was deliberate. Hotel location is good and within 10 minute walk from night market and presidential palace. The sewage system was not good. Probably the area as a whole. The bedroom, especially the bathroom, did not smell good. We thank the property for sending us to the airport for free.
