10.0The perfect place to refresh on Izu Peninsula. The rooms are generous and comfortable, the food is excellent and the private onsens are breathtaking.

3.0De locatie/gebied in de natuur was heel mooi
− Het is oude vergaande glorie. De foto’s op de site komen niet overeen met de werkelijkheid. Alles was oud en voor alles moest je extra betalen. Personeel wat ons ophaalde was heel erg vriendelijk, andere vrouwtje bij de in heck ook maar naar mijn weten de bazin was vrij nors. De Onsens zijn heel erg verkalkt en de douche etc zijn echt toe aan vernieuwen. Wij schrokken naar aanleiding van de prijs toen we op de locatie aankwamen. Wel heerlijk gegeten in het restaurant op loopafstand van het hotel.

10.0This stay was even better than I expected. The surroundings were incredibly comfortable, and the sound of the river felt like natural white noise — peaceful, soothing, and perfect for truly relaxing. I was also pleasantly surprised that the in-room bath amenities were from POLA, which added a nice sense of quality and attention to detail. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Instead of simply giving directions, they would personally guide us to the place, or even drive us there, which made us feel very well taken care of. Dinner was also excellent. The meal was beautifully arranged from appetizers, soup, sashimi, grilled dishes, hot pot, warm dishes, all the way to dessert. The quality, presentation, and overall balance were all very impressive, and the portions were very generous — some female guests may even find it hard to finish everything. Another pleasant surprise was the warm stone slab in the large public bath, where you can lie down and relax almost like in a sauna. There was also hot water available in the room at all times, so there was no need to boil water ourselves. Overall, this is a memorable onsen ryokan with a wonderful environment, thoughtful service, excellent food, and many lovely details.
