10.0just perfect for a quiet getaway, staff so friendly and helpful, lovely bar serving in my opinion the best food in the area including breakfast. Apartment was so clean and comfortable. This small complex of apartments was just what we wanted. No sunbed challenges and most days had pool to ourselves. Girani itself is a small resort with very little to offer

6.0Lovely old tasteful small hotel that unfortunately has been surrounded by garish mega tourist industry monstrosities. If you want a busy beach town with bars clubs and mediocre restaurants platanias will be great. Nice sand beach. If you are looking for unspoiled crete this area has passed its prime but hotel is very nice despite this

8.0Svært godt mottatt da vi kom sent på kvelden av personale som snakket godt engelsk. Fikk et flott rom nært bassenget. Da rommene er over to etasjer passer de ikke for noen som er dårlig til beins. Lite familiedrevet hotell med kjempegod service.
