5.0Comfy bed and reasonable shower when it worked OK. Seemed to be some issues with plumbing when more than one shower was running at the same time
− 1. Parking was tight for the number of guests in at the time. 2. The house smelt of cigarette smoke/ unpleasant in the entrance area which seemed to have been disguised by some sort of air freshner. 3. Dirty cutlery and crockery in the room on arrival. Owner sorted straight away. 4. Room storage cupboard smelt of damp. 5. TV wouldn't work until re-tuned. Aerial issues. 6. No shower gel to use in the shower 7. With the exception of the bathroom, the whole place seemed stuck in a 1980's time warp. 8. Breakfast room was dismal, with poor lighting, and pictures all over the place. 9. Despite being advertised on booking.com, no cooked breakfast was offered or available. 10 Very close to major main road, which was noisy with the window open. 11. The grounds needed a lot of work...plastic flowers not a good look either. 12. Water provided in the plastic bottle in the room was revolting, and undrinkable. 13. Patronising views of the manager in response to genuine criticism of his poor establishment. Its dated and unacceptable.

10.0I had a wonderful time staying at Nether Mains House. The location was ideal for were I was working and then once finished very relaxing, and the property itself is well-maintained, comfortable,even situated near a main road,couldn't hear any traffic at night. Everything was clean and tidy upon arrival, and the host made sure we had everything we needed for a hassle-free stay.breakfast set me up for the day ahead. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a refreshing getaway and central to the surrounding area. .will definitely returning again

10.0The property was very cosy and well looked after, cleanliness was up to a very high standard and Margaret made us feel completely at home, much better experience than your chain hotels! She went above and beyond for us and any requests we had she was very happy to help, would certainly stay again!:)
Best Bed & Breakfast Ever!
10.0Margaret was such a lovely and nice host, looked after us exceptionally well and couldn't do more to help us with our stay. Breakfast was superb and the room was so clean and bed comfortable. The shower facilities in the bedroom were top notch too. Will definitely be staying there again if we are in the area. 100/10.
Great spot in Ayrshire
9.0The host, Margaret, was amazing. Such a kind, lovable, and attentive person. She made sure I had everything I needed. She even accommodated a very late check-in due to my flight being late, without complain and with a smile.
