Lovely comfortable & quiet bedroom in a beautiful location
7.0Lovely location with easy access to low level walks
− The food service was very slow both in the evening & at breakfast. Dinner was good when it finally arrived. Breakfast was ok but not worth the wait for it. Seems like there are too many rooms to eat in and too many orders going to the kitchen at the same time.
I had a lovely stay can’t wait to go back. Thank you
10.0I had a really nice time. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
− It was all good
Comfortable stay with friendly staff
9.0Lovely period property set in the heart of the Lake District.
Ideal location to head to Windermere and up to Keswick.
10.0My go to if I have an opportunity to head to the Lakes for an overnight trip. Central to Windermere and Keswick with Ambleside and Grasmere really close by. Love that it has a rich history and is a really old building. Great bar, good food, lovely ambience and nice staff.
Just ok. Not worth £400 for 2 nights.
6.0Location, the setting is great breakfast is very good evening meal good.
− Room tatty and shabby in places for £400 for 2 nights wouldnt expect wallpaper coming off wall mould on ceiling shower kept losing pressure and matres solid. Iron burn in carpet. Small bed,no iron amd sullen barman.
