Breathtaking lodge
10.0What a lovely experience we had staying at the River House Lodge! We were welcomed with a drink and refresher towels and shown around the property. Which was gorgeous to say the least. Location is absolutely superb on the banks of the Crocodile river! We enjoyed game watching, and even got a visit from an elephant a few meters from the fence. Felt like an extension of our Kruger holiday. We will definitely be visiting again!

We were watching elephants from our balcony within 10 minutes of arrival, and it only got better from there.

9.0Amazing riverside location with breakfast views of elephants. Easy drive to Malelane gate. Hosts were very friendly and breakfast was good quality. They even lent us a pair of binoculars and a map for our Kruger self-drive! Their "pet" waterbucks were also a highlight of the stay!
− Nothing major, but perhaps other travellers would like to know that the pool looks a lot bigger in the photos than it actually is, and dinner options in the area are quite limited (and the hotel itself has a limited set menu that needs to be ordered in advance - so plan accordingly).

10.0Nossa experiência no River House foi excepcional. O que mais nos chamou atenção foi como os funcionários foram acolhedores e simpáticos conosco. A comida era excelente, com muitas opções diferentes e deliciosas. Além disso, a vista do deck é ótima. Conseguimos observar vários animais no rio após voltarmos do safári.
− Apesar de acharmos o quarto muito aconchegante, sentimos falta de um espaço maior para guardar as malas. Além disso, a escada para as camas de solteiro é muito íngreme, o que pode dificultar o acesso para algumas pessoas.
