4.0This is my second time to RIU Republica and while I usually swear by the RIU brand this was beyond a disappointment. The highlight was Alejandro- he was GREAT!! The rest of the staff was rude, less than helpful and everyone had an attitude! There was a flood in my room and when reporting at the front desk I was asked what did I want them to do? I never got a washcloth the entire stay! This was not a good representation of the reputation of this chain. The food at the sports bar was not edible! The resort food was below average and subpar at best! Needless to say what should’ve been a relaxing good time was a flooded room, rude encounters and couldn’t wait to leave! I was highly disappointed with this 5day stay. RIU you owe me!
