Fantastic, wonderful the best place to stay in the Catskills.
10.0This is a wonderful place to stay. The room was very nice. The owners were great. We sat and talked with Jean and Jim. The breakfast was fantastic. I would recomend this to everyone. Thank you for such a great place to lay our heads.

The best Bed and Breakfast I have ever stayed in.
10.0If you want to stay at a Bed and Breakfast done "right", Stamford Gables is the quintessential place to stay. The room in the Main House was wonderful; we stayed in the West Room and it was HUGE! The house is beautiful with plenty of room to park. Jim and Jean are wonderful hosts. But they really should call this a "Breakfast and Bed" because as nice as the room was, the breakfast was even better. The breakfasts were amazing! And I don't usually eat breakfast but I couldn't resist. We were attending a local wedding and all I heard from the other guests at the wedding how unsatisfied they were with the places they booked. So if you are coming to a wedding in the Catskills, do yourself a favor and stay at the Stamford Gables!

We were delighted to meet our hosts and learn about the town of Stamford and its history.
10.0Jean & Jim couldn't be more warm and welcoming, greeting us upon arrival and super-fresh chocolate chip cookies at the ready. The room had excellent natural light and excellent reading lamps. Parking was very good with easy access to the house. A stone patio off the kitchen provided a nice place to sit as well. We walked to our concert venue along really good sidewalks.
