I have stayed here many times in the past. It was an older motel in an out of the way area but the owners maintained a waterslide into the pool which was the reason to come. Also the breakfast although not first rate had decent items like eggs and sausage. In my last stay though it was under new ownership. The water slide was gone. The breakfast was not only just cheap cereal and milk but the cereal was in a machine that made you turn a knob for several minutes to get a single ounce of cereal. I rate 0/5 on that. But much worse was the mattresses. They replaced the okay mattresses with the worst I have ever imagined or experienced. No one can imagine how bad these mattresses are, it is beyond imagination. I have stayed at 5 star top places as well as 1 star dumps and these mattresses are the worst anyone has ever imagined. The new owners are nice people but they are so cheap that this place is completely doomed. There used to be a reason to go out of your way to stay at this remote place but there is not any longer. However, this remote town is safe. Which is good. You just won't sleep well.

Whole property and its surroundings are sketchy. Zero chance you leave your car doors unlocked here. Pool was a puddle of festering green water likely harboring an army of mosquitos. Room smelled of cigarettes, hair all over the bathroom sink, toilet seat fell off. The power button and other buttons of the tv remote were ripped off. Hardwired smoke detector was missing from the ceiling with bare wires sticking out. Lots of nefarious looking folks seemingly living in this place. I would say do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else, but it’s the only hotel in town. One star ONLY because the desk staff were pleasant. Otherwise this place needs torn down and relegated to the waste bin of history.

If I could give zero stars on this hotel I would. I was hesitate on booking this hotel but it’s the only one located in Henderson, Tennessee. And after reading the reviews of how they were renovating and that the place was clean, I decided to give it a shot. I walked through two different rooms and both were complete disgust. Live and dead bugs all throughout the room. The first room was carpeted with several stains and the carpet did not even go all the way to the wall. You can only imagine how many bugs were in that space. The second room was not as nasty but still disgusting. I ended up telling them I was not staying there and got a room 30 minutes away. They only refunded a portion of my expense. I DO NOT recommend this hotel and I’m not sure who is writing the reviews but I’m assuming they are fake people.

Front desk was great. Got into the room and it smelled horrible. I sprayed the room with freshener but it came back after 2 hours. Bathroom was not very clean. Furniture with missing pieces. See pics. Then got ice and found a cockroach in the ice. Highly do not recommend staying here.

We had a newly renovated room. It looked good and felt very comfortable. The staff was awesome. It was conveniently located for us. It was everything we needed at a reasonable price. I’ll be staying here again for sure.
