Our party of 10 recently had a week-long stay at the Mirazul Villa, and the accommodations and service were excellent from start to finish. The villa itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and offered plenty of room for our entire group to stay comfortably without feeling crowded. ​The standout feature of our stay was the staff's professionalism and attention to detail. ​Housekeeping - The house staff was incredibly thorough. Having our laundry done daily was a wonderful amenity; every day, our clothes were returned to our rooms perfectly cleaned and folded. ​Private Dining with Chef Jose- We highly recommend booking private dining with Chef Jose. We enjoyed four private meals in our villa with him and his assistant, who were both polite, attentive, and brought a great energy to the evenings. The food was excellent, and they handled all of the preparation and cleanup. ​Concierge Service- Our concierge, Brian, was fantastic and made himself available 24/7 for anything we needed. On our arrival day, he thoughtfully set up cake, balloons, and champagne to help us celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, our friends' 21st anniversary, and our son's high school graduation. ​Throughout the week, Brian was incredibly responsive. When we experienced a minor technical issue with the first-floor suite, he had it resolved promptly. He also brought us fresh pastries a few mornings, ordered pizza for the kids, arranged our taxis, and coordinated all of our excursions and in-villa massages ​We had a wonderful week and highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a seamless, high-quality vacation experience. This team works so hard for their guests—a generous tip is well-deserved for this level of service.

Jorge did a phenomenal job planning and hosting us. The entire staff was so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The facilities and bungalows were in great condition. We didn’t want to leave. Had the most amazing experience and will be coming back!

Incredible honeymoon destination

This was our honeymoon and exceeded all of our expectations! Tulemar resort took away all the stress And booked all of our excursions and planned our transportation throughout the whole week! The food on the property was delicious and the relaxation vibes were unmatched. Jean Carlo was our concierge and he made sure our stay was relaxing and full of ease. We stayed in three different villas on property and each one had amazing views surrounded by active wildlife. Our experience was unmatched and we couldn't be more pleased!

The ultimate honeymoon destination!

We spent two weeks at the Tulemar for our honeymoon and it completely blew us away. The resort is gorgeous, but the service is what sets it apart. Huge shoutout to our concierge, Jean Carlo! He was so helpful and accommodating throughout our entire stay, making sure we had everything we needed to just relax and enjoy our time together. Everyone there was so nice, from all of the shuttle drivers, to housekeeping, to the gift shop staff; we felt so welcomed at every turn. I can’t say enough positive things about the Tulemar, I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone visiting Costa Rica!

Tulumar is Magical!

We had a multigenerational group from 5 to 70 and everyone said it was the most amazing trip and location! We stayed in two villas, Sol Angelo and Paz Amore and both had awesome views of the ocean, with beautiful sunsets and plenty of animal sightings and monkey visits! The houses were both open air, with air conditioning in the bedrooms. You truly feel suspended in the middle of a jungle. The resort itself has several pools,although both villas had their own, and a lovely beach that is attended by David, who helps get you set up! There are housekeepers in the villas that keep everything in order, and our exceptionally patient and talented concierge, Alex Salazar, who made all excursion and dinner reservations and dealt with all the questions and requests from our group! Not sure how he keeps his wonderful upbeat personality! Everyone that works at the resort, from severs, housekeepers, groundskeepers, shuttle drivers, concierge really make it such a special place!

Best combination of animals, views, luxury homes, exciting activities and wave riding

Heaven on Earth. The Tulemar Resort has it all - tons of animals including Sloths, monkeys, Macaws and Parakeets, luxury homes with amazing views of the ocean and animal watching, excellent concierges (Jorge) that arranged driving and the most amazing trips that are high quality and high safety, and even restaurants and food stories walking distance. and I did not even mention the best beach right on property with Iguanas, crabs and amazing wave riding! (the week we were there). Note - the Sloth Institute Costa Rica is within the Resort (Tulemar gave the group land and a little funding!). This amazing non-profit has been doing Sloth rescue and rehabilitation for more than 10 years. our family of 5 (adults and adult children) all loved every minute of this vacation. Pure Vida!
