10.0The best part about this lodge is it’s location. Sitted inside a wildlife park AND by the shores of Lake Victoria. The best of two worlds. The staff were also extra attentive and very courteous. I had a genuinely great time.

10.0The place is amazingly quiet, peaceful and awesome food and staff.
A perfect quite weekend getaway
8.0The lodge is ideally located and the sound of the lake as it laps within two meters from a very clean simple room. The beautiful impalas that roam closely around gave it a magical feel. Staff is helpfulnand friendly but the dining can do with some work. I would still recommend it!

8.0Wonderful location and excellent attentive staff. But AC and fridge did not work. Many lights out. The hotel is inside a separately operated animal sanctuary. We were stuck at the gate for over an hour while the sanctuary and the hotel finally resolved our reservation confirmation and let us in. Call ahead!! Also there’s not a lot of food choices even though the menu suggests otherwise. Ask the waiter what they DO have. Assume they do not have your choice. The site is a five star venue. These issues bring it down to a three star.
