Peaceful rural stay in eastern Portugal close to the mountains
10.0Secluded, quiet spot adjacent to farmland and hills. Old building beautifully converted and modernised. Living area with wood burning stove, fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom with plenty of hot water, comfortable bed. Owner is a friendly and helpful Portuguese lady who speaks English well.

Beautiful villa that needs repairs and better customer service
5.0Beautiful location and villa.
− There were several issues with the villa. The toilets didn't always flush properly. Several of the appliances didn't work or were in bad shape. Most importantly there was a significant leak from the bathroom upstairs into the living room. When we told the owner, he implied that we caused the issues. He sent someone to take a look but ultimately just told us to deal with it or leave. Very unprofessional and terrible customer service.
