8.0On the day of arrival the air conditioner would not get below 75 degrees. Our neighbor advised that her kids had to be moved from the same room for the same reason, yet they put us there anyway. After the first night, they upgraded us to a room with an ocean view and a working air conditioner. Things went smoothly for rest of the trip!

8.0My stay started well. My room was ready early, so I was able to begin relaxing early. Staff were friendly + helpful. Rooms could use an upgrade, but it's still a quaint property
Nice beach, but that’s it
6.0To start off- their beach is amazing. Crystal clear water, clean beach, and the pool nearby is awesome as well. The rooms are clean if somewhat older. Bed was comfortable. Jaz at the reception was wonderful, as was Bernaldo in the wait staff. However, in general the service was terrible. The first couple of nights at dinner, we only received our drinks by the time we finished eating. After that, we ordered our drinks at the bar and took them into the dining room with us. We got a couple of dirty looks for that. The Wave Bar - it started off good and got worse every day. The staff behaved the same way if they had 2 people or 30 people waiting. 45 mins for 2 burgers with fries, and that after they got our orders wrong multiple times. We watched people go through 2-4 drinks while waiting for their food. The staff had 3-5 people gathered in a corner talking and laughing while 2 people served drinks. It was honestly very frustrating to watch. They would constantly run out of ingredients as well. The dinner buffet was atrocious. Breakfast was inconsistent - sometimes juice , sometimes not. Sometimes egg service, sometimes just scrambled eggs and deal with it. To sum up- the beach and pool was lovely. But it was absolutely NOT worth the money we spent on the hotel unfortunately.

8.0I want to give a shout out to everyone who worked in the restaurants and bar. I am sorry that I can't remember everyone's names. You are all such lovely people who always went out of their way to make our stay happy. Thank you!!!!!!
