Good retreat from hustle and bustle.
10.0Close to Kingston and Hwy 87, thus convenient. Friendly host(s), a very pleasant stay. We were okay with no cell phone reception or TV because the wifi was fine, and we enjoyed this quiet getaway. Breakfast was tasty, artisan bread, large portions of fresh fruit. Restful and comfortable.

4.0It's a potentially pretty property but it needs considerable work and daily attention. The owners were away and left it in the hands, one day, of a neighbor, who did her honorable best, and the other day in the hands of someone engaged for the purpose, who was inattentive and indifferent. If one cannot cover properly for a period of absence, one ought to close for that period. The condition of the house and the quality of the decoration are so-so at best. One can wish the owners well, and that they will invest in their property. Until then, there will be better choices.
