Very pleasant short break at the lakes.

− I do not know if I'm being an idiot (which is likely), on the day of check-in, we couldn't get into the apartment and rang every number we could find. I couldn't and still can't find the message or email the lock box codes where they were sent to. All worked out in the end, though, as a lady called me back and got us in. (I just want to make it very clear this was most likely an oversight on my part and not the apartment people's)
I would definitely stay again due to the location and the freedom it gives you over staying in a hotel or similar. Just
6.0Great location for work & town centre Gives freedom & control in respect of cooking, eating, training, working etc in that you can come & go as you please Great location for Morrisons supermarket Really good power shower Felt secure Good response times from the owners / managers of the apartments who were always really helpful and responsive Reliable WiFi I didn’t need parking but there was plenty of it that I could see
− Keys front & back door very stiff difficult to get in (other residence said the same!) Furniture is contemporary but no longer new / modern - sofas and dining chairs were stained & tatty Left hand knob came off the oven on first use & the hob markers are worn away Blind was broken and lying on the window sill for duration of stay - with such a large window it felt quite exposed at night! Ironing board was broken (doesn’t stay up) Exposed screws in the walls of the bedroom Hairdryer handle collapses shut when using - also no mirror in the bedroom to dry hair / apply makeup etc

A damage deposit of GBP 50 is required on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full in cash, subject to an inspection of the property.
