− Terrible lack of direction signage to reception. Poor check-in causing gross waste of valuable time due to lost room keys. Poor housekeeping with soiled mattress. Low pressure of shower outlet.

− My room was pleasant but a bit small and a bit basic for a 4 star hotel. Low shower pressure, hairdryer was missing.

All bedrooms are nonsmoking.
Due to the age of the building the hotel has limited access for guests with limited mobility, it has a number of ground-floor bedrooms in St Leonard's & St Margaret's, and an external wheelchair elevator is available for access into the castle, for the reception, library, and lounges. All castle bedrooms are accessed via stairs. Bedrooms do not have adapted bathrooms, some do have a walk-in shower. Please contact the hotel prior to your visit to ensure that we can accommodate your needs.
Spa treatments are at an additonal charge and must be pre-booked. The spa is closed on Tuesdays. There is no pool.
