Lovely country pub with super friendly staff
10.0Stayed for one night for a party, the staff couldn’t be more welcoming, we had a lovely stay.
Lovely Stay
10.0Lovely place to stay for the weekend, staff were so accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was brilliant, room was clean and warm. We would definitely return in the future

6.0The window should have a blackout blind because a motion sensor security light comes on often throughout the night and it's bright enough to disturb your sleep. The sheets and duvet were of good quality and the bed was comfortable. I didn't have an evening meal or breakfast but what I saw of the meals looked appetising. The Inn is set in the hillside so it's a fairly steep hill down to the carpark. There looks to be an attractive woodland walk at the side of the carpark and a nice area to sit and have a picnic.

10.0Really impressive welcome, food and accommodation. Great base to visit the dales from.
Mixed review..
6.0The rooms are directly below the bar as restaurants area, the chairs being moved can be heard up until 10pm and it is not relaxing unfortunately. We wanted a cosy night in the room before a big hike the next day… The rooms below the bar don’t get much fresh air, which leaves quite a stale smell. On a positive note… Bedding was very crisp and clean. The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough. We enjoyed scampi and home cooked chips for dinner!!! 10 minutes drive from the Kinder Scout walking route which was amazing.
