10.0Amazing landlady. Lovely breakfast room and a large variety of food for breakfast provided. The city centre, both bus and train station within a very short walking distance.
Ideal stay for a couple looking to explore the Lake District.
10.0The host was very welcoming and accommodating when we asked to put some of our cold meats away. The location is ideal as it's not on the high street but rather a few minutes walk away. The rooms are just as shown in the picture.

8.0The hosts were most welcoming and friendly. The kettle in the room was very useful. The area was generally peaceful and quiet. Breakfasts provided many wonderful choices and the heated dishes were cooked to perfection!
− The toilet was down some stairs, and the shower was on the first-floor landing. The shower-room was very small and cramped. The TV aerial was faulty and the pictures on BBC 1 were pixilated.
