− Not as clean as I would have liked. Some fixtures and fittings not really of a 4 star standard. Plastic glasses dulled by dishwasher.

Sadly not worth the £651 paid for one night.
7.0Beautiful Manor House, gardens were lovely and spa was amazing. Spa suite was impressive and it was great to have access to outside space. Lunch was tasty but service let the experience down.
− Restaurant service was awful, lady who served us was argumentative, rude and dismissive. Such a shame, she refused to listen to feedback and pulled faces which you wouldn’t expect when asking repeatedly for a missed dish which ultimately didn’t arrive. When asked to remove the dish she tried to argue the point and then proceeded to discuss the situation in front of us with other staff.
Relaxing and special stay in wonderful surroundings with great staff and facilities. Will be back.
9.0Loved the room, cosy but quite roomy. Super clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. Lots of character. Breakfast was lovely. Spa was exceptional. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Especially Asha on reception and a lovely girl who was there at dinner and breakfast. She was very knowledgeable and helpful especially for my dietary requirements.
− The dinner was nice but there were some elements that I didn’t enjoy as much. I had the lamb which was nice but not delicious. The pomme Anna was amazing. The beetroot starter was not great and the smoked salmon starter I didn’t like the fact the salmon was cut into big chunks rather than slices. But minor details. Overall I had an amazing stay.

9.0We’ve stayed here on a number of occasions. It has a certain charm about it & as a return customer this time was greeted by a complimentary drink which was delightful. They are always very accommodating also when we ask for an early check in for the opera.
− The hotel is quite pricey if you’re using it just to sleep, not too bad if you can book a cosy room & you’re using the spa.

Children Spa Access & Swimming Times
Please note children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the spa (maximum two children per adult) and are allowed in our Spa building and Spa areas from 10:00am until 11:00am and from 3:30pm until 5.00pm daily. Children are not permitted to use the hot tub, jacuzzi, steam room or sauna.
Please note for reservations made within 4 days of the day of arrival, full payment for the stay is required upon check-in.
Dogs are welcome at a charge of £30 per dog per night for maximum of two dogs per room. We recommend booking a Cuckfield room or above to ensure sufficient space. Please note dogs are not permitted in the Spa Suites or Spa building.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
