Great overnight stay
8.0Staff were very helpful. Thanks Niamh and Katy. Good food. Comfortable bed.
− Access was via external stairs but Niamh carried our luggage! No access until check in. We would have happily bought drinks and waited until check in time but we had to wait in the car park.

9.0We arrived early as we was attending a wedding nearby, property was shut but after speaking to a staff member to ask if we could leave the car parked there they checked to see if room was ready and was able to let us in which was great, the staff member was very helpful and so polite. Couldn't comment on the breakfast as we left early to travel on to the lake district. Would definitely stay again !! 😊

Excellent food, friendly staff, ideally located as a gateway to the Yorkshire countryside.
9.0Ideal location just off the M6 for either a stopover or for a base for sight seeing or getting out and about visiting the multitude of local attractions.
− It is situated on a main road and the rumble of heavy vehicles over night was a slight distraction however its rustic charm and ease of access was a positive.
Our stay was just what we needed - relaxed and stree free.
9.0Staff were welcoming. Room was comfortable, clean and tidy.
