Great stop off location. Food great, rooms comfortable.
8.0Breakfast was brilliant. I arrived too late for dinner, but the food looked lovely. Location was great as it was 5 mins off the A66. I stayed during the hot weather but they provided a fan which was helpful.
− Slightly unusually for a room but there was no TV or radio - not necessarily something I didn't like, it was just a surprise. I had my phone which I used as an alarm clock, but its quite unusual not to have one.

8.0Lovely location with very convenient walks for us and our dog. Very friendly and welcoming team at the Angel, and understanding of our situation (we had left a horribly unsuitable so-called hotel in Doncaster)
− Ahh, the shower-head in the wet-room was a wrestling match (needs replacing). Sprayed everywhere !! Ceiling, walls, floor in all directions. Needs replacing I'd say. That area was a somewhat "Niffy"
