Hilton haikou, not up to scratch

Location was good.

− You have to change lifts and go around the building everytime you want to come or go. Carpet in the room was so stained it looked like a crime scene, and was so thread bare that we kept pricking our feet on the gripper rods poking through. It had an expensive high tech toilet but it didn't work for any of the features, and would automatically close the lid halfway through your business. This probably was a high end hotel a few years ago, but now it's showing signs of needing maintenance. Breakfast was plentiful but never varied from the same options, of which the western items were limited.

The king studio was big and had a nice view of the city.

− The concierge was not helpful when we asked about a parcel delivery, and just directed us to the delivery shelf without checking the chat I had with the hotel. Rooms were dated and the carboards in the kitchen were cracked in places.
