Hotel mit Top Aussicht und schönen Pool mit Sicht auf Ascona. Hotel hat aber Optimierungspotential
6.0Das Hotel befindet sich an einer Top Lage mit schönem Pool und tolle Sicht auf Ascona. Shuttleservice vom Hotel nach Ascona und Locarno wird angeboten. Das Frühstück war vielfältig. Das Brot, Fleisch, Käse, Müsli und Eier waren sehr frisch. Für Veganer hatte es auch Milch sowie Gipfeli.
− Zimmer war renoviert, der Balkon aber in die Jahre gekommen. Die Türe zum Balkon ging auf der einen Seite fast nicht auf. Der Cleaning-Service des Zimmers war sub-optimal, schlecht gereinigt. An einem Tag unseres Aufenthaltes war das Zimmer um 16h immer noch nicht gemacht. Das Nachfüllen des Bade-Shampoos wurde auch vergessen.
Preis-Leistung gut, weil die Lage genial ist. Die Mitarbeiter freundlich aber eine Führung fehlt.
5.0- Tolles Ambiente an schöner Lage und die Mitarbeiter freundlich.
− - Laut Foto-Beschreibung hat unser Zimmer eine grosse Terrasse mit Blick über den Lago maggiore. Unser erhaltenes Zimmer hatte jedoch einen Minibalkon im 1. OG mit Sicht auf eine Wand des nächsten Gebäudes. Wir haben die teuerste Zimmerkategorie gewählt. Als ich die Beschreibung genau durchgekesen hatte, stand nirgends etwas von der schönen Terrasse. Das Bild wich also von der Beschreibung ab. - Das Personal ist freundlich aber zu wenig geschult. Als wir Abends zurückkamen von einem Spaziergang, standen mehrere Mitarbeiter im Speisesaal und haben miteinander geredet, schienen gelangweilt. - Der Frühstücksbereich war zum Zeitpunkt der Öffnung nicht ready. Kein Kaffee vorhanden, die Beschriftungstafeln lagen auf dem Tisch, Müsli und Brot fehlte- und wieder quatschten die Mitarbeiter miteinander anstatt alles herzurichtten. - Unser Bad hatte am Fenster dicke Spinnweben.
Schöne Lage aber das Hotel ist leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen.
6.0− Klimaanlage war defekt. Die Lösung dazu waren diverse Tücher um das viele Wasser aufzufangen. Bei CHF 400 hätten wir da schon ein Entgegenkommen erwartet. Zudem ist für ein 4 Stern Hotel ungenügend, dass es am Nachmittag keine kleine Karte für Essen gibt.
